This cohort is an extension of an in-person workshop presented in Shanghai on Nov. 1 and 2. Users can register for this action-based cohort without joining the in-person workshop. A familiarity with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching is necessary. Click here to also join the in-person workshop.

Audience:
Supervisors (any individuals who have role authority to evaluate teaching practices and performance of teachers) including, but not limited to, Heads of School, Principals, Assistant Principals, Deans, Department Heads, Directors of Teaching & Learning, Division Heads, etc.
Materials:
All participants will receive a copy of Learning-Focused Supervision, Second Edition (Lipton & Wellman, 2022)
Project Description:
Through a series of bimonthly collaborative engagements and asynchronous learning opportunities, participants will apply the Learning-Focused Supervision practices to their own supervision/evaluation cycle, share their applications of learning and be asked to give and receive peer feedback according to best practices.
Huddle Up Learning experiences will focus on topics such as establishing trust, conducting effective classroom observations using any observation tool, analyzing teaching practice using video observations, providing growth-focused feedback, and engaging teachers in planning and reflective conversations.
Participants will collaborate with fellow cohort members and the course facilitator to explore learning experiences and challenges during two, one-hour virtual meetings per month. Additional asynchronous collaboration opportunities (sharing work and peer feedback) are expected to require approximately two hours per month.

Individual Registration: $550* per learner
Individuals register to join a cohort of international school educators for a 3-month collaborative experience. The course facilitator will organize registrants into groups of 6 to 15 to focus on practices and learning from each other's applications. Cohorts will be created according to time zone to ensure reasonable scheduling for the optional synchronous sessions.
School Registration: $4000* per school
Create an exclusive cohort with 5-20 participants from one school for a 3-month collaborative experience to focus on practices and develop a shared organizational understanding.

* The regular rates are $4500 and $650, respectively. These discounted rates apply to:
- Learners who have registered before September 1, 2024, or
- Learners who have joined the Nov. 1 or 2 weekend workshop.
Registration for the live workshops on Nov. 1 and 2 is not necessary to register for the Huddle Up asynchronous cohorts. Space is limited and priority will be given to those who attend the in-person workshops.
